The Edit

A woman sorting clothes into donate, keep, and recycle boxes in a cozy bedroom.

What does “Editing” your space mean?

Editing (decluttering) is simply the process of removing items that are no longer needed, used, or valued, so your space becomes more organised, functional, and easier to maintain.

It’s not about throwing things away, it’s about keeping what truly matters to you, letting go of the excess, and creating clear systems where everything has a place.

When we work together, there’s no pressure and no judgement, only support. I guide you gently through the process, helping you decide what to keep, what to donate, and what to recycle, always respecting your choices and making sure your home feels calmer and easier to live in.

What happens after I leave?

Once I leave, the process doesn’t stop there. Every item you choose to let go of is sorted with care and intention. I personally categorise everything to ensure it reaches the most appropriate place.

  • Dog refuge: used towels, blankets and dog toys
  • Homeless support & women’s shelters: wearable clothing, shoes, children’s toys, unopened in-date food and toiletries
  • Textile recycling: items that are worn, stained, torn or no longer suitable for donation

Nothing is wasted. Every item is handled thoughtfully and directed where it can be genuinely useful. Editing your space isn’t just about creating space, it’s about giving your belongings a meaningful second life.
